A driver is on the run after hitting an 11-year-old girl crossing the street in Sheepshead Bay back in March.

Police say the incident happened on March 19 at around 4 p.m. on Emmons Avenue between Bragg Street and Brigham Street. A man driving a dark-colored BMW struck the girl as she crossed the street. She fell to the ground and sustained bruises and lacerations to her knees. EMS took her to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health, and she is expected to recover.

Meanwhile, the driver of the BMW drove off on Emmons Avenue.
