Police have released photos of the suspect who spat and punched an MTA train operator Friday in The Bronx.

The incident happened after 10 p.m. inside the East 177th Street-Parkchester subway station. Police say the 58-year-old operator was advising passengers that the “6” train was on its last stop. The suspect spit on his face, punched him and knocked him to the ground. The suspect also kicked him before running off.

The operator was taken to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi in serious condition but is expected to recover.

Anyone with information is asked to call NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
