Residents in Mott Haven are raising concerns about a vacant storefront in Mott Haven. They say it’s become an eyesore and possible target for vandalism.

The former Dunkin’ on Brown Place and Bruckner Boulevard has been closed since August 31, 2025, after reportedly losing its lease. Broken windows, scattered debris and garbage now line what used to be a busy drive-thru.

People who work nearby say they’ve seen police at the location and believe the damage may have happened overnight. They add that the area has seen ongoing issues with vandalism and loitering since the store shut down.

News 12 reached out to the Department of Buildings and is waiting to hear back.
