From a mid-March feel over the weekend to suddenly summer this week. Spring is bringing all the seasonal twists and turns of a good novel thriller.
The overnight will be mainly clear. The winds will be light but out of a favorable direction. Overnight temperatures are exactly where the daytime high temperatures should be for this time of year.
Tuesday will feature mainly sunny skies. The winds will be breezy and from the south, southwest. This will launch the temperatures into the low 80s. This is the first time since the first of the month that New Jersey has been this warm.
Wednesday could be a record breaker. The question is could it be the first time that the state sees the high temperature reach 90 this year? If the conditions are perfect, mainly sunny and more of a south wind, then it can happen. If there is a few more clouds lingering around? New Jersey may just get to the upper 80s. The record set back in 1960 is 88. It looks like with sunnier skies and a favorable wind will help launch the afternoon temperatures on Wednesday to record levels and beyond. It's looking more and more likely that some neighborhoods are going to experience the first 90 of the year.
