The MTA wants to hear your ideas on how to improve the Long Island Rail Road Jamaica station.

The agency is planning a major redesign of the station.

Commuters first had the opportunity to submit comments this week, on Monday and Wednesday at the LIRR Mezzanine, near the newsstand, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

There will be four additional chances to make your voice heard, on Apr. 24 at the AirTrain, Apr. 28 at the MTA Customer Service Center within Sutphin Archer subway station, and on Apr. 30 and May 1 at the Sutphin Archer Street level.

You can also give feedback by completing a survey online.

The improvement project is part of the NYS budget that Governor Kathy Hochul is planning to spend $50 million on.

Hochul says the changes could save riders thirty minutes of travel time each week.
