Storm Team Meteorologist Radek Przygodzki visited his alma mater, Fairfield Warde High School, Thursday and talked to students enrolled in their broadcast journalism class.

He spoke to students about his career path, what it's like to work in television and the ongoing changes in the industry.

Teachers say the class and visit provides students with a unique learning opportunity.

"It's a great way for students that are interested in learning the fundamentals of filming, production, post-production from soup to nuts. So it's a really great opportunity and Radek is a perfect example of someone who started in high school and is now pursuing a career in it," says Aaron Johnson, library media specialist.

The school also offers classes in movie production and video production.
