Bellport man killed in Long Island Expressway crash

A driver was killed during a single-vehicle collision Friday night on the Long Island Expressway in Manorville.
Police say 32-year-old Julio Borges, of Bellport, lost control in the westbound lanes and veered off into the woods near Exit 69 around 5:30 p.m.
A physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner pronounced him dead at the scene.
