Crews from multiple fire departments responded to a blaze in Suffolk County Sunday afternoon.

Flames broke out around 3 p.m. at the Harrison Gardens apartment complex on Harrison Avenue in North Amityville, fire officials say.

Firefighters from eight departments worked to bring the fire under control in about an hour.

The cause is under investigation by Suffolk Police Arson Squad detectives.

There were no reported injuries, according to police.

The Red Cross says they are assisting five displaced adults from three households with financial aid and comfort items.
