Sources: Fire Marshal arrested after accidentally shooting himself with illegal gun at FDNY headquarters

Two men were slashed with a machete early Tuesday morning in Fordham, sources said.

Police said the call came just after 3 a.m. at 2310 Walton Ave. A 34-year-old man was slashed on the head, and a 39-year-old man was slashed on the left hand.

Sources say that the two had an argument with a homeless man before the slashing.

Both men were taken to SBH Health System and are expected to recover.

There are no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
