Police are searching for two men who they say snatched a 68-year-old woman's purse containing $5,000 inside Joe's Pizzeria in Cypress Hills.

Authorities say the woman walked into 1121 Liberty Ave. just before 12:30 p.m. on May 4, moments after withdrawing the cash from a nearby bank. Inside the shop, she briefly handed her purse to a 68-year-old man whom she knew.

Moments later, the duo entered the shop and started an argument with the man before forcibly snatching the woman's purse from his hands, police say.

The men took off running northbound toward Lincoln Avenue.

No one was injured.

Authorities say one man was last seen wearing all black, carrying a red Target shopping bag, while the other wore a black hat, blue surgical facemask, light blue jeans, black sneakers and a black jacket.

Anyone with information is urged to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
