Farmingdale State College provided staff, faculty and students with travel guidance for the ongoing LIRR strike.
With finals beginning this week, the college urged people to make alternative travel arrangements.
Suffolk County Transit and NICE bus systems both provide service to campus, according to an advisory released by the college.
Students who have a final exam and are unable to reach campus are advised to contact their professors.
Campus shuttle service between Farmingdale and the LIRR station is no longer available. However, the college says shuttles will continue to operate between campus and the Aviation Center on a regular schedule.
College officials say those in need of support should contact the Dean of Students Office via email or call 934-420-2104.
