It's a cool start to the day with lows in the upper 40s and low 50s, but temperatures quickly soar when the sun rises. Highs are in the mid to upper 70s. It will be a bit breezy in the afternoon.
Sunday: Near Record Heat
High temperatures will be in the mid 80s with a few afternoon clouds. The record for Bridgeport is 85 degrees.
Next week:
Monday is in the upper 70s, Tuesday and Wednesday will approach the upper 80s and could hit 90 degrees in a few spots. A cold front comes through mid-week, and showers and thunderstorms are likely Wednesday into early Thursday. This front will bring temperatures back down to normal and lower the humidity too.
