The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in two gunpoint robberies that occurred about an hour apart in Bushwick.

The first incident was reported around 7:15 p.m. on May 4 inside a residential building near Patchen Avenue and Bainbridge Street, where two individuals displayed a firearm and took a 39‑year‑old man’s cellphone before fleeing.

About an hour later at 8:15 p.m., two individuals entered another residential building near Gates Avenue and Throop Avenue where they displayed a firearm to a 25‑year‑old man. They stole approximately $40 before fleeing.

There were no injuries reported from either incident.

The suspect is described as a male with a slim build and medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1‑800‑577‑TIPS.
