WHAT TO KNOW
Temperatures will jump up a bit more for Wednesday, so expect highs to reach the 80s just about everywhere. Cooler spots will be along the Long Island Sound with low 80s but inland areas can easily achieve 85 or better in the afternoon.
A cold front will move through the area late Wednesday into Thursday. Rain chances are minimal for Western Connecticut, but there could be a shower on Thursday. The rest of the day will see a partly to mostly cloudy sky.
Temperatures will be warmest for the first half of the week, with seasonable 70s for the second half after the front clears the area.
Great sleeping weather into the upcoming weekend with overnight lows close to 50. Daytime highs look to stay in the low 70s.
