Man stabbed to death, another slashed in the face in front of Sunset Park supermarket
The stabbing victim, who police identified as David Martinez, suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso. He was killed just four blocks from his home.

A man was stabbed to death and another was slashed in the face in front of City Fresh Market in Sunset Park, police say.
The violence unfolded outside 5009 6th Ave. just before 5 a.m. Thursday.
News 12 obtained exclusive surveillance video of the attack, which shows four men sharing beers outside the supermarket before a fight breaks out.
The stabbing victim, who police identified as 36-year-old David Martinez, suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso. Officers found him unconscious at the corner of 6th Avenue and 50th Street. He was killed just four blocks from his home.
EMS rushed the victims to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, where Martinez died.
The slashing victim, also 36 years old, is expected to recover, according to the NYPD.
Police are looking for a man who took off running toward 6th Avenue after the attack, wearing all black.
