Attacker on the run after slashing man’s face on Coney Island

A 30-year-old man was stabbed during a brawl near Roebling Playground in Williamsburg, police say.

A 911 caller reported two men fighting near Bedford Avenue and Taylor Street just after 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The NYPD says the man suffered a stab wound to the stomach.

Paramedics took him to Methodist Hospital, where he is expected to recover.

Police say his attacker was last seen wearing a red shirt, a camouflage baseball cap and blue jeans.
