WHAT TO KNOW
Nice late-June weather will stick around for Thursday before showers and thunderstorms return overnight heading into Friday. The showers and storms look to be very sporadic, but can bring localized heavy rain to the area before the weekend arrives.
You may wake up to a few lingering showers very early Saturday morning, but the overall weekend weather pattern looks very good. Sunday is by far the drier of the two weekend days with mid-80s under a mix of sun and clouds.
In the meantime, it will get progressively more humid over the next few days. Temperatures look to remain seasonable with some lower 80s for now.
The summer heat returns for next week.
