A 13-year-old boy accused of choking and threatening another student has been arrested, according to Yonkers police.
Officers responded to Yonkers Public School 15 on June 5 after receiving a report of a past sex-related offense.
Investigators say the boy used sexually explicit language and threats toward the 12-year-old girl while choking and forcibly touching her during recess.
The boy is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and forcible touching. He has since been released to his mother.
School officials say parents were notified, the student is suspended and has not returned to school.
Due to his age, police say the matter is being handled by family court and no further identifying information will be released.
