Dispute over declined card ends with two nail salon employees slashed in Crown Heights

Police are looking for three men who slashed and robbed a 36-year-old man in Soundview.

The attack happened near Evergreen and Westchester avenues at 3:30 a.m. on June 7.

Police say a 36-year-old man was approached by the three men, and an argument broke out among them.

The three men then proceeded to brandish broken bottles and slash the 36-year-old man multiple times throughout his body.

The men took the victim’s cellphone before fleeing.

The 36-year-old man was transported by EMS to Lincoln hospital and is expected to recover.
