Man wanted for gunpoint robbery in Bed-Stuy

The robbery happened near Franklin and Lexington avenues at 2 a.m.

Police are looking for a man they say robbed a 70-year-old woman and a 68-year-old man in Bed-Stuy early Monday morning.

The robbery happened near Franklin and Lexington avenues at 2 a.m.

Police say the man approached the 70-year-old woman and the 68-year-old woman and displayed firearm. The thief then forcibly removed a purse and wallet containing about $900.

The man then fled the scene on foot towards Quincy Street.
