A rideshare driver was shot in the face during a violent robbery in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, police say.
The gunman entered the 21-year-old man's TLC cab in front of 525 Parkside Ave. just after 4 a.m. on July 11.
According to police, the attacker threatened the driver before demanding he hand over money and his car keys.
When the 21-year-old exited the car, the man pulled a gun on him and fired, striking him in the face.
Paramedics rushed the driver to NYC Health and Hospitals/ Kings County. He is expected to recover, according to police.
The NYPD says the gunman got away with an unknown amount of money and took off running westbound on Parkside Avenue toward Flatbush Avenue.
Police provided video footage and images of the man they are looking for. They say he was last seen wearing blue shorts, a black sweatshirt, a black surgical mask, black shoes and carrying a black bookbag.
