A 31-year-old woman and a 4-year-old child were rushed to the hospital after being hit by a car that jumped the curb Sunday evening.

Police say the woman was on the sidewalk with her two children at the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Park Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. when the crash happened.

According to police, a 39-year-old man driving a grey Fisker driving on Park Avenue tried to make a turn on Nostrand Avenue when he hit a Honda minivan.

The Fisker then jumped the curb and hit the woman and child. The woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The mother and child are now in stable condition, according to police.

Police say the drivers stayed on the scene. No charges have been filed.
