Police say a hit-and-run in Cypress Hills ended with a teenager stabbed and another man fighting for his life.

According to the NYPD, a man and a 17-year-old were riding a motorcycle along Highland Boulevard when they were struck by a gray Acura TSX just before 10 p.m. Monday. The impact threw both victims from the bike.

FDNY says the motorcycle caught fire, and somewhere in the aftermath, the 17-year-old was stabbed multiple times.

Police say the motorcycle rider suffered critical injuries, while the teenager was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Detectives are still piecing together the violent chain of events that started with the motorcycle collision and ended with fire, a stabbing and two people rushed to the hospital.
