Boat and Beach Forecast

There is a moderate risk for rip currents for Coney Island and all Atlantic facing beaches. Please remain cautious about swimming at the Atlantic Ocean beaches as you try to find some relief from the hot and humid weather and only enter the water where a lifeguard is on duty.

The wind will generally be west to southwest this weekend at 5 to 10 mph. Swells on the Atlantic beaches are around 3 feet. Conditions remain good for boaters on the Atlantic, but exert caution in the afternoon for pop-up storms.
