Raising Cane’s opening new NJ location on Monday
The chicken finger chain is expanding its New Jersey presence with a new location near Linden Airport.

Raising Cane’s is expanding its presence in New Jersey with its 10th location in the state, opening on Aug. 17, in Linden.
The restaurant, located at 801 W. Edgar Road near Linden Airport, is scheduled to open at 10 a.m.
It will be the chain’s third location in North Jersey and will employ 110 locally hired workers.
The company is planning several events and giveaways to mark the opening, including a drawing in which 20 customers will receive free Raising Cane’s for a year.
Entries for the drawing will be accepted from 8 to 9 a.m. Monday, with winners selected shortly afterward. Participants must be at least 13 years old and present to win.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Linden Mayor Derek Armstead and the Greater Elizabeth Chamber of Commerce is scheduled for 9 a.m.
Raising Cane’s also plans to present $1,000 donations to the Boys & Girls Club of Union County and Linden Public Schools.
The Louisiana-based chain, founded in 1996, specializes in chicken finger meals and has more than 1,000 restaurants worldwide.
The company says it plans to open nearly 100 new locations in 2026.
