A 25-year-old man was injured in a overnight shooting in Brownsville.  

Police responded to a shooting in front of 268 E. 98th St. just before 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.  

When police arrived they found the 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left ankle. EMS transported the man to Brookdale where he is expected to be OK.  

Police sources say they are searching for two men in connection to the shooting. They were last seen fleeing the scene on an e-bike wearing all black clothing and surgical masks. 

There are no arrets and an investigation is ongoing.
