A Poughkeepsie man has been sentenced to 15 years in state prison after a jury convicted him on a drug charge.

Angel Lebron was found guilty of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to prosecutors.

Prosecutors said Lebron was found in Poughkeepsie with at least a half-ounce of a substance containing cocaine.

Lebron was sentenced to 15 years in state prison.

He will also serve three years of post-release supervision.
