According to the NYPD, the victim and another woman were involved in an argument that turned violent. It happened just before 9:30 a.m.
The victim suffered a slash wound to the left shoulder.
EMS took her to NYU Langone Health—Cobble Hill, where police say she is expected to recover.
Her attacker turned herself in, according to the NYPD.
