Employees from St Mark’s U.M.C. head center and the Bishop Sexton Head-Start Programs picketed Thursday morning alleging they have not been paid since the beginning of August.
The employees gathered in front of City Hall steps Thursday morning demanding their pay and transparency.
They claim they are being told they haven't been paid due to a delay to their funding from the Department of Education.
News 12 has reached out to the Department of Education and the office of Head Start for a comment and are awaiting to hear back.
