These teenagers are the first in their families to attend college. Middlesex College is helping them prepare through its First-Generation Summer Success Program.
The special orientation gives students a chance to learn about campus resources, build confidence and feel more comfortable before classes begin.
For these students, being the first comes with plenty of pride. It’s an accomplishment they’ll carry with them forever.
