A high pressure gas main was struck at a construction site in Park slope on Wednesday morning, according to the FDNY.
It happened just before 10:30 a.m. in front of 467 Prospect Ave.
A spokesperson for the National Grid says a third party contractor, who was not working for the National grid, struck the gas main.
People inside the surrounding buildings were evacuated, according to fire officials.

No one was injured, according to the FDNY.
The Department of Buildings says it was not called to the scene.
