SUV crashes into front of Ridgewood hair salon

A Ridgewood hair salon is picking up the pieces after an SUV crashed through the front glass windows of the business.
Tapestry Hairdressing Salon said on social media that one of its clients hit the gas instead of the brakes and drove through the front of the shop. The SUV ended up inside the business, damaging the interior and leaving broken glass around the vehicle.
"Miraculously, no one was hurt at all," Tapestry Hairdressing Salon said on Facebook.
The salon also thanked local business MGC Painting and Home Improvements for helping the shop clean up the debris and board up the windows after the crash. The owners said they planned to reopen today.
No additional information has been released about the crash or the driver.
