A 34-year-old man was wounded during a stabbing in Sheepshead Bay on Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.

It happened near Avenue U and East 23rd Street just after 5:15 a.m.

Investigators say the man suffered a stab wound to the right side of the chest.

Paramedics took him to Coney Island Hospital, where he is expected to recover, according to police.

Detectives say they are searching for a man wearing all black clothing and a face mask.

Information about what sparked the stabbing was not immediately available.
