A 33-year-old man is in critical condition after a driver struck him on Nostrand Avenue in Crown Heights and kept going Tuesday night, police say.

The man was riding a two-wheel vehicle near Atlantic Avenue around 7:35 p.m. when a white 2026 Hyundai Elantra heading south on Nostrand Avenue hit him, according to police. They have not specified what kind of two-wheel vehicle he was riding.

The man suffered severe head injuries and was taken to Kings County Hospital.

Video posted to Citizen shows investigators at the scene and what appears to be a bike lying in the street.

Police say the driver continued south on Nostrand Avenue after the collision.

Investigators are searching for the Elantra. Police have not released a description of the driver, and no arrests have been made.
