Beer thief slashes 3 workers during confrontation at East New York store
Authorities say the suspect entered the Linden Boulevard business around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, took several beer cans and attempted to leave without paying.

A man is wanted after slashing three store workers who tried to stop him from stealing beer from an East New York store, according to police.
Authorities say the suspect entered the Linden Boulevard business around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, took several beer cans and attempted to leave without paying.
When workers confronted him, he pulled out a knife and began to attack. A 35-year-old victim and a 22-year-old sustained cuts to their hands, while a 42-year-old was cut on his face.
Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction and remains at large.
EMS took the 42-year-old victim to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition. The two other victims were treated at the scene.
