28-year-old man injured in East Flatbush shooting

Officials say a man was injured Friday night during a shooting in East Flatbush. They say the 28-year-old man was shot in the face and buttocks around 5:30 p.m. on Church Avenue near Kings Highway.

Officials say a man was injured Friday night during a shooting in East Flatbush.
They say the 28-year-old man was shot in the face and buttocks around 5:30 p.m. on Church Avenue near Kings Highway.
Police say the victim then got in a livery cab and fled the scene. They say they tracked him to East 57th Street and Church Avenue and transported him to Kings County Hospital where he is stable condition.
Officials say they are searching for the shooter and are continuing to investigate the incident.
