A 28-year-old man was fatally shot in the neck in Bedford-Stuyvesant Tuesday morning.
Police say the incident took place around 4 a.m. on Lewis Avenue. According to police, a ShotSpotter activation alerted them of the shooting. The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull where he died.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing. It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
Police also say the victim has been identified and has about half a dozen prior arrests as part of the Hoolie gang.
