Three people were hurt when a two-alarm fire ripped through a Bushwick apartment building.
The chief on scene said the flames were contained to one building on Himrod Street early Wednesday, but two neighboring ones were evacuated as a precaution.
One victim told News 12 that he woke up to his roommate screaming after the fire apparently spread from a heating unit to his bed. The roommates and one firefighter were treated for minor injuries.
The cause is under investigation.
