An FDNY emergency vehicle crashed into a livery cab on Bedford Avenue Thursday morning, sending three people to the hospital.
Eyewitnesses say the cab was traveling down Bedford Avenue and was trying to make a left turn onto Prospect Place when the fire truck collided with it, causing the vehicle to wrap around a light post near a day care center.
The cab driver sustained injuries to his back and neck, but is expected to recover. Two firefighters also suffered minor injuries.
According to witnesses, the FDNY vehicle had its lights and sirens on, but some say it was going too fast.
