Three people were shot early Wednesday on the corner of Ashford Street and Livonia Avenue in East New York.
Police arrived at the crime scene near the New Lots Avenue subway station just after 1:30 a.m.
They found two men in their 20s bleeding on the ground with several gunshot wounds. One of the victims was shot four times in his chest, arm and leg. The second victim was hit twice, in the back and stomach. Both men were taken to Brookdale Hospital.
A third victim suffered a shoulder wound. Police say he walked on his own inside the hospital for treatment.
Police have not yet made any arrests in the case, but they say they are speaking with the victims. Surveillance cameras installed in the area could also potentially shed light on the incident.
