A powerful three-alarm fire ripped through three homes in a Brooklyn neighborhood Saturday morning which left three people injured.
Fire officials say the call about the fire on Sumpter Street came in at 10:25 a.m.
Firefighters were immediately on scene just minutes later as the fire escalated to a third alarm.
Officials say three people were injured, which included two firefighters and one resident who suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
Fire officials say all residents were displaced, but there is not an exact count of how many.
They say the fire started in just one house and made its way to the other homes.
