One of New York City's largest menorahs was among the many being lit for the first night of Hanukkah Tuesday.
The structure at Brooklyn's Grand Army Plaza is more than 30 feet high.
"We look at the light, and it reminds us that every single one of us has the ability to ignite the flame within ourselves and more importantly to ignite the life of someone else," says Shimon Hecht, rabbi of Chabbad of Park Slope.
