A three-alarm fire tore through three buildings in Fordham Monday morning, displacing 32 tenants.
According to the FDNY, flames broke out inside a vacant building at 17 East 184th St. and spread to two neighboring homes. Nearly 200 firefighters responded to the fire, which was elevated to a four-alarm for relief purposes.
The Red Cross is helping provide emergency housing until tenants can return home, but officials say nine of the affected residents will not be able to. To watch Chopper 12 footage from above the fire, click on News 12 Extra on Optimum TV channel 612.
