4 Nassau beaches closed due to storm runoff

The beaches are expected to open at 7 a.m. Thursday unless the county deems the water samples unsafe once again.

News 12 has learned four beaches are closed in Nassau County due to storm runoff caused by Tuesday’s heavy rainfall.
The closed beaches are Morgan Sound in Glen Cove, North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington, Sea Cliff Village Beach and Tappen Beach in Glenwood Landing.
The beaches are expected to open at 7 a.m. Thursday unless the county deems the water samples unsafe once again.
