The NYPD is asking for the public’s help in finding four people wanted in connection to a shooting in Gravesend last week.

Police say it happened on Tuesday, Aug. 19, just after 6 a.m. outside a residential building on West 33rd Street. Investigators say an 18-year-old man was standing outside when a group of four approached him. After some kind of argument, one of them pulled out a gun and shot the teen in the backside.

The victim was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn and is in stable condition.

Police released surveillance photos showing the four people they’re looking for. In the images, some are wearing masks, but officers say their clothes and appearance may be familiar to someone.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are kept confidential.
