A man is fighting for his life after police say he was stabbed Tuesday night in East New York.

According to the NYPD, officers discovered an unresponsive and unconscious 58-year-old man at about 10:30 p.m. on Hegeman Avenue near the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say the victim was stabbed once in the right bicep and taken to a hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. The suspect is at large.
