A 58-year-old man was shot after a suspect opened fire on a Bed-Stuy street, police say.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday on Tompkins Avenue.
Police say the suspect opened fire on the street, striking the 58-year-old man once in the chest. Officials believe he was not the intended target.
Neighbors have identified the man as Franklin Cedano.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital in critical condition.
Police are looking for at least one suspect.
