5th annual celebration prepares NYC children for new school year

It is already time for children across the city to go back to school, and groups are teaming up to get them ready for their first day.
The 5th annual Keisha Baxter Back to School Celebration was held by the Administration for Children’s Services in conjunction with the East New York Community Partnership Program Friday.
Parents learned about educational tools they can use in the new school year, including available scholarships.
Children also got the chance to earn some free school supplies.
