The father of a 7-year-old boy said his son had to have nine stitches after he was attacked by a dog at a Bushwick park.

The boy's father says he wants the owner and his dog to be held accountable.

The boy's family says over two weeks ago, 7-year-old Angel was playing in Thomas Boyland Park in Bushwick after a Little League practice when he was attacked by the dog. They say it was a pit bull.

"The dog was just relentless in his attack," said Tony Nunez, a close friend and witness.

Henrry Sanchez, the boy's father, said the dog's owner felt bad, but didn't stay around for the police.

He says he wants them to be held accountable and said that he doesn't want any other parent to have to go through this.
