A 71-year-old man is in critical condition after falling from a fifth-story building Saturday afternoon in Gravesend.

Sources close to the investigation believe he fell out of his window while trying to remove his air conditioning unit.

The man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital and was in critical condition with trauma throughout the body as of Saturday night.
